Abstract: Abstract: Tourism development in Crete is affected by a number of environmental parameters, among which is the global overheating. We focus on the effects of the climatic changes on the tourism dynamics, while we stress out the relation between the environment and tourism. Our research is targeted on the island of Crete, as it constitutes one of the most dynamic tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea.
